Books & Brews has grown astronomically, and it made me realize how much people want a bookish community to connect with. It has been great connecting with everyone these last several months, but I realized we have had nearly 8 meetings, and I still haven’t gotten to know everyone.
So, the idea for the Books & Brews: The Retreat was born. A 3-day, 2-night escape at the Muskoka Beer Spa, with time to connect with other book lovers and to sit and do what we all love: READ. Join us for this bookish retreat from 2026 Dates Coming Soon!
The Venue: Muskoka Beer Spa
Your quintessential Canadian spa, Muskoka BeerSpa is your place to detox, retox and relax.
Your BeerSpa Day visit includes hot tubs, a pool, saunas, a steam room, cabanas, loungers, hammocks, fountains, dump buckets, swings, a beer garden, and more.
The Plan: Read, Relax, Reconnect
Think of it as a networking event for book lovers. There will be lots of time to hang out on your own and read, with a few group activities thrown in.
It wouldn’t be Books & Brews without a book club discussion, so join us in reading COMING SOON. Plus lots of goodies and brews for the perfect escape.
What's Included?
$600 per person plus tax for the 3-day, 2-night escape at the Muskoka Beer Spa.
Meals
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included for the duration of your stay. Snacks, coffee, and tea are also available in your room.
Activites
Access to the resort amenities: dock, beach, canoes, kayaks, SUPs, saunas, pool, hot tubs, and steam room.
Book Club
Join us to discuss COMING SOON. This will run like any other Books & Brews meeting.
Care Package
Upon arrival, a few goodies will be waiting in your room, including bookish, energizing and self-care items.
Connection
Planned activities will allow you to finally properly connect with the people you see at every Books & Brews night.
Not included: any additional beers you'd like to purchase or spa treatments. Full timeline to be shared closer to retreat.
